His question comes from the truth of appearances. So the first thing that we need to explain is that things that look similar are not necessarily the same in content. Two similar or even identical pots may contain very different elements. In fact, all human beings have similar features outwardly, but they may be as different as Krishna and Kansa. Both look similar, were even related to each other, but Krishna is considered God, whereas Kansa is considered a demon. Why? Because of the great difference in qualities.
Similarly, whether someone is God or a human being or a demon or an animal is decided not just by looks and appearances but by the qualities and capacities of nature. A robot may look like a human and may perform actions intelligently, but it is not a machine and not a human because it lacks the most important element of a human being, such as faith, aspiration, human love.
Now, what are the qualities we expect in the Divine? Omniscience, Omnipotence, Love that can sacrifice all, endless Peace and Bliss, Perfect Wisdom and Power, among many others. If one reads The Mother’s life, one will find all these qualities and capacities expressed at some point and in some way or the other.
Then the next logical question would be that why then the Mother took a human body and come like us. She could have come straight away in a Divine Body, a luminous body, so to say, a body that would not be subject to disease or death? The answer is that in such a case, there would be no intimate connection between us and Her. We may admire and worship Her, but never imagined becoming like Her. That would defeat the very purpose of Her coming. She came like us, outwardly so to say, so that we can feel Her close as one of us, and draw near Her and, mingling with Her Nature, grow one with Her, become somewhat like Her. Thus Her Purpose would be fulfilled as She came to transform us into Her likeness, as divine beings.

(Follow-up Question:)
I feel you very close, why so?
Because you love The Mother and have faith in Her. Therefore, it is natural that you would feel close to me, who too loves the Mother and has full faith in Her.
