AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

My mother passed away on 14 Nov due to cardiac arrest, leaving behind 3 daughter’s and my father… we all are in a shock n blank, not able to accept her death, mind is dulled, don’t know what to do? Alok Da, we want to talk to our mother.

The shock of the family is understandable. But it is important to understand that each soul has its own unique journey and while she is no more accessible to the senses, yet all is never destroyed. She must be traveling through the inner worlds towards the divine realm to rest and restore herself before returning again. It is not a good thing to disturb her during this passage. It will only delay her transit through the mid worlds. The right thing is to pray for her, send her thoughts of peace and love as a beautiful farewell gift from the family. It will support her on the journey.

During this period the family should read Savitri Book Two Canto 14 or The Gita chapter 2. It helps calm our mind to bear the first sense of the irreparable with the knowledge that birth and death are moments, processes of life. The soul journeys through these towards its true destiny. All the outward form of our relations are temporary and change with new life.

Affectionately
