AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Shri Krishna mantras can help us get liberation from past mistakes and their consequences. In this context, a final curiosity has arisen in my heart: 📿💙🙏🏻 […]

“To get liberation from past sins, mistakes, and their negative karmic consequences, which specific mantra of Shri Krishna is considered most suitable and auspicious? Is it the Mahamantra (Hare Krishna…), the Ashtakshara Mantra (Shri Krishna Sharanam Mama), or some other specific mantra? Kindly provide clarity on this matter.”

Let me explain once again. Sri Krishna does not see the way we see. Sin, forgiveness are human concepts, not the Divine.

What we call as sin is very different from the way God sees it. To us, sin is a moral and social concept. If that were true then Sri Krishna would never ask Arjuna to kill his own grandfather and Guru and help him run away with Sri Krishna’s own sister Subhadra. The root of sin is selfishness, the motive and not the act.

Mantras do not liberate us from sin but from the tendency towards sin, by liberating us from selfishness and egoism. If we love God, we naturally chant His Name and by this dual power of love and the Name, we are slowly liberated from all selfishness and tendency towards sin.

I know the pundits in different cults make too much about human follies, filling the mind with guilt and ideas of forgiveness. But those who know Sri Krishna know Him as All-love. Sin cannot exist in His Presence. Just as dirt is washed away when we bathe in a river, so too all our past loses its hold and the stains go away by taking a dip in the Lord.

It is not the mantra but the Lord’s name, love for Him, that does the magic. All the rest is simply means for the pundits to make money or get self-importance.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I can fully understand all these old world ways of life that often feel so stifling. But the more one tries to reason out, the more the resistance grows creating needless disharmony. It is best to practice inner detachment and equanimity. And yes it always helps to keep good humour and move on in one’s journey quietly….

Is Integral Education meant for conventional schools? Because by large if we see most of the organisations(schools) work for the sake of business and even though if they show some curiosity in implementing Integral Education in their schools it remains on the surface. 🎓🌱[…]

Integral Education implies two main ideas. First and foremost that the Education, to be complete must include the development of all the different parts of the being. This is not so difficult to implement if there is a will to make it essential. It will benefit the students greatly and there should be no great difficulty in implementing it in …
