Also, with these medicines, now I am gonna throw these out as they have made me really dull and dependent.

You should meet a good psychiatrist in your city and take advice from him, along with whatever medicines he prescribes. Right now, you are not ready for the spiritual life. It will come later. Yes, you can always pray to God and read books that uplift, including books with a spiritual consciousness, such as the Bhagavad Gita and the writings of the Mother. There is no need to go to spiritual organisations and learn their practices.
