AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

The Mother said that She saw four kinds of people or beings who were on the Supramental Ship. First were those who were not only ready to manifest in the Supramental body in the Supramental World directly but also were giving a push for its manifestation. ๐ŸŒ„๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒธ[…]

The others were ready to manifest in the Supramental body. In the third category were those who were partly Supramental and partly under process. And the fourth category was those who were undergoing the process of Transformation. And in them were some from the Ashram and others were from outside…

This clearly shows that many Mahapurushas were not only ready for the Supramental world but were capable of hastening the process of Transformation of Supramental Manifestation, and others were ready to manifest in a Supramental body directly, without coming to Sri Aurobindo’s Ashram. Because this work of the Transformation of Supramental Manifestation was known to Siddhas of the past and they were waiting for it.

As Sri Aurobindo and The Mother were destined to proceed with the Supramental Manifestation on the earth, others were waiting for their turn… So let’s not be flabbergasted that Sadhaks of Sri Aurobindo ashram alone would be participating in the Supramental Manifestation…

There were always greater beings, Saints and Siddhas in the past who were ready for this great Supramental Transformation of the earth as willed by Sri Krishna, who chose Sri Aurobindo and The Mother for His Purna Yoga and sent Sri Aurobindo to Pondicherry.
In fact, the Mother said that the real plan of Sri Krishna was to enact Maha Ras, which was only in Goloka on earth in the physical world, through progressive transformation, through Superman, Supramental being to Anandmaya body of Gopies…

Whether the secret of supramental transformation was known to the siddhas of the past or not, it is not a matter of speculation but of facts based on what they said or wrote. I am sure there must have been several attempts towards physical immortality, which is a different thing than transformation. The final aim by most of these siddhas has ultimately been mukti. Whatever it be, surely no one group can claim its right over the transformation, be it the Ashram here or elsewhere. What is important is sincerity, openness, wideness, plasticity, persistent aspiration, faith and surrender. Whoever fulfils these conditions will pass through regardless of his geographical status.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Sir, we know that Sri Krishna descended into the physical body of Sri Aurobindo. Which Overmental God descended into the body of the Mother? ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโœจ

She already had her identification with the Divine Mother, the Mother of the gods. That had happened already in 1914 as you will see in Her prayers of September 1914. Sri Aurobindo had also recognised it long back. It was because of this identification that She could bring down the gods in the Ashram atmosphere and in the consciousness of the disciples. It was due to her tapasya that Sri krishna accepted to bind himself with Sri Aurobindo’s being.

Yes I understand that. There is a difficulty with the Indian mind also because we are accustomed to a certain spiritual outlook that often misses many intermediary links that connect the spiritual and the material.ย

These links serve as various roads and bridges or else as roadblocks, obstacles to our spiritual journey. In simple words our nature, meaning thereby our thoughts, feelings, impulses, motives, passions, desires, the entire range…
