AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

‘The progress in sadhana comes from the rectification of the inner and outer attitude, not from the nature of the work one does—any work, even the most humble, can lead to the Divine if it is done with the right attitude.’ -THE MOTHER. So how is the true way of having this truest or right inner attitude and outer attitude and rectification?? Example while being at home with children, cooking, doing chores… please describe!⛰️🌊🎯🧭

The first and most important, in fact, the most powerful, indispensable step is nishkaam karma. It means to do whatever work has fallen to our lot, either by choice or destiny, without worrying or thinking about the result. Yet it must be done well, with care and perfection, as a worship of the Mother in an inner state of Remembrance and Offering. If one can just do this and keep this inner state, nishkama karma as well as smarana arpan, then nothing else is needed for the inner liberation.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
