AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

The true physical, vital and mental can come with the psychic being as they have been integrated with the psychic being. But it is believed that the bad nature, bad actions, bad habits also travel to the next birth. These things are obviously not touched by the psychic being. These things take us away from the psychic being. So, obviously they are not integrated with the psychic. Then how can they travel to the next birth? It is said that both good and bad samskaras are carried to the next birth. Who carries those samskaras🤨?

But who has said that we carry on bad habits, bad nature to the future? In that case there will be no hope. Good and bad are purely human conceptions and have no importance for the cosmic powers. The outer nature with the surface personality and its habits is picked up after birth from the parents and surrounding environment as well as cultural influences. It drops off with the death of the body. That is why it is said that all our jealousies, enemity and hate cease after death. Besides there are plenty of things in life that are neither good or bad in themselves such as job, marriage etc. It is the attitude and motives that matter. Only karmic imprints are carried not as good and bad but as tendencies, learning, essential experiences in terms of whether they took us closer to our true goal or hindered it. It is this essential experience that determines the need of further experiences in the next life, not good and bad or rewards and punishments.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
