AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Why do we get dreams😴?

When we are awake then we are conscious of only the outer world, the physical world that we perceive through the senses. But the physical world is only a very small fraction of all that is going on inside us and all around. When we sleep our senses shut down and hence we begin to become aware of all that is going on inside and which we didn’t notice. We become aware, even if passingly of all our wishes, hopes, fears as well as our possibilities and limitations, the touch of the Divine and the other influences. So you see the world of dreams can be a good learning for us and sleep a good school. But we have to first grow aware of the dream world and understand the dream language.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
