AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Why has the popularity of Khatti Shyam ji grown too much in the recent years, people call him Krishna of kaliyuga? But isn’t Krishna just Krishna, why would be a different version of him in kaliyuga? What exactly is the presence in Khattu?

The reason for popularity is always the same. It is the vital forces that attract persons either through lure and dazzling miracles. The very fact that the term Khatu has been prefixed after the village in which the ‘head’ was apparently found suggests that the story has been popularized for vested interests.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
