You can understand and appreciate it as the artistry of God. Let me explain.
The physical cause of the tilt is that billions of years ago, the earth was hit by a planet. As a result two things happened. Firstly the moon was formed out of the debris of the earth. Secondly the exact tilt of 23.5 degrees pointing towards the North star leads to the sunlight falling in a differential pattern upon the earth. It is this that leads to the seasons. If there was no tilt there would be either extreme summer and extreme winter. If the tilt was more than what it is it would be extremes of weather not permitting life to evolve upon earth.
So you see the seemingly casual hit created the moon and the seasons! Isn’t it a wonderful artistry of God!
