AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

You said that we should not think that whatever is happening is happening by the will of God, then why did Lord Sri Krishna tell Sri Aurobindo in Alipore Jail that whatever a man may think or do, he cannot do anything except helping my purpose. So Lord Sri Krishna told Arjun in the Gita that I am situated in the heart of all living beings and I am deceiving everyone with my Maya and making them act according to my will🤔

The Divine works from behind the veil of Yogamaya because of which the original Will gets distorted. Otherwise, the logical conclusion would be that all the evil and cruel deeds are done by the Divine and there would be no need of yoga and sadhana, etc.

What Sri Krishna revealed to Sri Aurobindo in the Alipore Jail is that whatever men may do or say, how much ever they may oppose and resist the Divine Will, still it will fulfil itself in the end.

Original question in Hindi:

Perhaps he is referring to the passages below. Let us read it closely. ‘Lala Lajpat Rai struck a higher note, that of Hindu nationalism as a necessary preliminary to a greater Indian Nationality. We distrust this ideal. Not that we are blind to facts,—not that we do not recognise Hindu-Mahomedan rivalry as a legacy of the past enhanced and not
