AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I wonder: How is the soul after death? Can the soul move? in every realms of the worlds beyond and the world here or is it – without any free will – torn and moved around by fear, karma etc. as it states the Tibetan Book of the Death. e.g.? So if I die now here in Europe would it for example be possible for my soul to travel, to fly to the samadhi in Puducherry?🧘✨🪷🗝️❤️

Whether here upon earth or in the realms beyond the soul remains bound to the sheaths or shroud of Ignorance in which it is wrapped. These sheaths are the physical body, the vital and the mental bodies. Though the physical body is shed here, the soul is carried in these subtle sheaths. These sheaths may be constituted of good and happy vibrations in which case it is drawn and attracted towards happier worlds. Or if these sheaths carry the impact of darkness then the journey is a rough and bumpy ride. But this is for a few weeks after which the soul sheds these sheaths and is then escorted to the its native divine home. There it rests awhile, assimilates its earthly experiences and prepares the road map for the future.

This of course is the general rule. There are many variations though especially in the length of time and the degree of darkness and brightness through which it may move based on its actions or rather the motives and states of consciousness that it nurtured and the quality of inner life it built.

The Mother, during her sojourn in Algeria built a safer and easier passage through which those who have faith of some kind in the Divine (in any form) can pass through smoothly. I suppose this is the experience that many going through Near Death describe. But for those who have faith in Sri Aurobindo and the Mother or are connected to them through their teachings or stay in inner remembrance come straight to Sri Aurobindo’s place in the subtle physical which She has described number of times and others have experienced.

As far as you are concerned you will be completely escorted by Her angels and reach safely in Her lap.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I read this little passage from The Mother. I want to know whether Sri Aurobindo is talking about Radha or the Hladini Shakti here. If not, who is the Power of the Mother mentioned here?: 📖😊🙏🏻🌄🌼[…]

Fortunately this question was asked to Sri Aurobindo though in different words. We have a clear, concise and complete answer from him on this issue. The letter is as quoted below.

‘In the Chandi the names of the four Cosmic Powers of the Mother—Maheshwari, Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, Mahasaraswati—are mentioned along with others, but the name Radha is not mentioned. This is a clear proof of the fact that when the Chandi was composed the Radha-Power was not manifested to the vision of the saints and that the Chandi mentions…

Today I had a remarkable dream. I felt that something profoundly spiritual had happened to India. It seemed that Mother India, the Divine Feminine Power, had become firmly established in the nation, and that a deep realization had awakened in the collective consciousness of the country. 🗺️😊🙏🏻🪷🌄[…]

This is not just a dream but a dream vision. It is true to the details. Yes, Mother India is rising to reclaim Her Glory and redeem the world. The other woman is clearly the anti-divine forces whose time has come. They are angry at the rise of India’s glory and know …

In her prayer of May 17, 1914, Mother writes, “One day thou wilt be my head but for the moment turn thy gaze towards the earth.” When a disciple enquired what the phrase “thou wilt be my head” means, She answered that “The head is the original conceiving Consciousness. “Could you simplify the meaning of all this a little further for me? 📖😊🙏🏻🌼

Head is the hub that conceives whereas heart is the hub that impels towards action.

What the Mother seems to be experiencing here, in this prayer, is to withdraw from everything including all action. She wants to be completely one with the pure Consciousness in its origin. But the command for her is…
