AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I’m writing about several things that are happening to me in both of these situations. If you want to explain, please answer each one separately. I close my eyes and can’t sleep. A reel of Sri Maa is playing on my mobile phone. While I sleep, sometimes the Mother appears before my eyes, appearing as light within me. On one hand, I remember Guru Maa, who loves me like her own child, and on the other hand, I feel a sense of peace and joy when I look at the picture of Sri Maa. How should I deal with this situation, Dada?🌸πŸͺ·β˜€οΈπŸŒ™β™ΎοΈ

Tonight, in my semi-conscious state, I saw a video of auromas, then a person appeared at the Mother’s feet. Then, the Kali Maa Kali Maa started spontaneously within me.

Dada, today, for the first time, I meditated on the picture of Sri Maa. There was peace and joy in my thoughts, and it was as if I could feel the presence of the Mother.

But Dada, isn’t doing this a betrayal of my Guru? I feel a lot of restlessness within me, but I don’t know what happened. I don’t feel any attraction to Gurudev’s picture, and the restlessness within me begins.

Guru is the giver of Light. How can moving from Light to Light be a deception. Whatever be the past of our outer personality, the inner being, and the soul always recognises the Divine Mother and it is only natural that as our soul evolves it feels attracted towards the Divine Mother. Besides these things such as the Guru are not decided by a mental calculation but an inner soul instinct or intuition. The problem is actually this that the physical meeting and physical association with the Master becomes a bond of a different kind. It is somewhat like a family attachment rooted in physical association. But then the true association and bonding is and must always be spiritual. The Guru is the Light that answers to the soul’s aspiration. That is what one has to always remember.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dada, how to stop thinking? I mean, continuous thoughts are coming and going regarding useless things. Sri Aurobindo has said we have to watch thoughts and not attach any importance to them, but how should we do that? Or how to calm our minds and think about our Master’s only?🌊πŸŒͺοΈπŸ€―πŸƒπŸ§

While stopping of thoughts completely is not an easy thing, it is very much possible to direct the flow consciously towards an object. Thus, you can consciously let your thoughts run around the idea of God, or of a Divine…

Kindly let me know if the understanding below is incorrect: As SAT, CHIT, and ANANDA are the 3 aspects of PARABRAHMAN, meant for the manifestation in our universe, so are the infinite other aspects of PARABRAHMAN meant for the manifestation in many other universes. And that is how millions of universes, of different kinds, have been created by the Divine.πŸ•‰οΈπŸŒŒβœ¨πŸ‘οΈ

Sat, Chit-tapas, Ananda are the three principle aspects. All other aspects such as Peace, Wisdom, Knowledge, Compassion, Strength, Beauty, Harmony, Love are derived from these four fundamental aspects of the One Infinite. Each…
