AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

The money comes to me from the Divine Mother; without Her Grace, I am no one to get the money. 🫴🏼💴🌷🌄

Then my question is, why am I giving it to the Mother again as an Offering? Does this Offering help me one day towards Complete Surrender?

Also, may you tell me about the difference between a coin of 10, 20 Rupees offering & a paper note rupees offering? Or there is no difference?

Money, like everything else, that is education, intelligence, will, emotions, are all gifts of the Divine Mother, but they come through the agency of Nature. We can use them for our daily purposes, which is what the average person does, using it all for his ignorant, selfish needs, for survival and pleasure. One can misuse them by fulfilling egoistic ambitions and expansion of desires, as the asuric type of humanity does. Or we can use them for the Divine Work, the Divine Manifestation, the Divine Purposes, which a sadhak is supposed to do. That is what is meant by giving to the Divine Mother. It means helping in the outer aspects of Her Work, which need money. For example, printing of their books with an eye on perfection and beauty will need money.

Giving of money is only one kind of giving. It certainly helps in the surrender, provided there is no ego in the act of giving and no remembrance of what has been given.

There is no difference between the different coins as far as the value is concerned. It is what the coin represents in terms of the amount of money.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Sir, Sri Aurobindo talks about the descent of peace, light, force while doing above-head concentration. he also speaks about higher planes of consciousness, e.g., higher mind, intuitive mind, etc., and the ascent of consciousness into these planes. What is the correlation between these two explanations? 😊🙏🏻🌀🌸

Ascent means that the consciousness begins to operate in a new mode. It is somewhat like a child going from school into graduation wherein he understands the same subject differently. Thus with each ascent there comes a new way of looking at everything, a new and higher mode of operating. …

I visited somebody’s house (some rich businessman) and he had, I believe, 11, 12, or 13 entrances into his house (I forgot the exact number). And each of those entrances was guarded by a small fluffy dog of the same breed (very beautiful). 💭🐍🐕‍🦺🏡🌾[…]

From your description it seems to be some place in the vital world, some benevolent being of the mid-worlds that holds wealth. The dogs are faithful guardians of the treasure while the snakes are adverse vital forces trying …
