AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

How was Dilip Kumar Roy under the influence of a vital being even after blessings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother? Why didn’t Mother interfere to remove the influence when his mind got astray?🌸🀍πŸͺ·βœ¨

There is an internal freedom given to everyone to chose their evolutionary curve. The Divine never abandons but also never forces you to stick to the Divine Will until you have made the definitive surrender. Unfortunately Dilip Kumar Roy could never do that. His intellectual mind came in the way. It is not his vital problems that were the main difficulty but his inability to accept the Mother and have faith in Her. By turning hostile to Her, he even displayed lack of faith in Sri Aurobindo and a disobedience to him. He did so because of the doubts in the mind. But even these would not have mattered if he remained open to the Mother’s Grace.

Nevertheless the Mother and Sri Aurobindo never abandoned him. He went away but they did not and he perhaps eventually realised it at some point later in his life.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I have Savitri, The Life Divine, and some other books written by M. P. Pandit ji. Could you kindly suggest which book they should read first in Hindi to understand more about the Mother and Sri Aurobindo?πŸ“šπŸ“•πŸͺ·πŸ“œ
