AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I had a dream tonight, can you explain it: I was cleaning a room in the house we used to live in. A Siddha Yoga practitioner was with me. As I was about to put some things upstairs, I found some books and several photos of Shri Maa, including a photo of her feet. I kept many of those photos, and the practitioner also kept some.🌜💭😴💤

A little while later, I had another dream about the same room. Both my wives were sitting on the same bed, but the other one wasn’t talking. I gave her something written on a piece of paper. She said she had misunderstood and had come and gotten engaged to me. Then my first wife said, “Let’s do all this later, we have to leave now.”

2). The night before last I saw that there was a hall in the middle of which food was kept, some people were sitting and you were sitting in front and talking something and there were four incense sticks in front of you and they were spreading their fragrance, then I saw some onions and chopped tomatoes on that dining table.

Both the dreams indicate an effort at harmonizing the developing inner life of yoga and the domestic family life that occupies the inner consciousness.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I read this little passage from The Mother. I want to know whether Sri Aurobindo is talking about Radha or the Hladini Shakti here. If not, who is the Power of the Mother mentioned here?: 📖😊🙏🏻🌄🌼[…]

Fortunately this question was asked to Sri Aurobindo though in different words. We have a clear, concise and complete answer from him on this issue. The letter is as quoted below.

‘In the Chandi the names of the four Cosmic Powers of the Mother—Maheshwari, Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, Mahasaraswati—are mentioned along with others, but the name Radha is not mentioned. This is a clear proof of the fact that when the Chandi was composed the Radha-Power was not manifested to the vision of the saints and that the Chandi mentions…

Today I had a remarkable dream. I felt that something profoundly spiritual had happened to India. It seemed that Mother India, the Divine Feminine Power, had become firmly established in the nation, and that a deep realization had awakened in the collective consciousness of the country. 🗺️😊🙏🏻🪷🌄[…]

This is not just a dream but a dream vision. It is true to the details. Yes, Mother India is rising to reclaim Her Glory and redeem the world. The other woman is clearly the anti-divine forces whose time has come. They are angry at the rise of India’s glory and know …

In her prayer of May 17, 1914, Mother writes, “One day thou wilt be my head but for the moment turn thy gaze towards the earth.” When a disciple enquired what the phrase “thou wilt be my head” means, She answered that “The head is the original conceiving Consciousness. “Could you simplify the meaning of all this a little further for me? 📖😊🙏🏻🌼

Head is the hub that conceives whereas heart is the hub that impels towards action.

What the Mother seems to be experiencing here, in this prayer, is to withdraw from everything including all action. She wants to be completely one with the pure Consciousness in its origin. But the command for her is…
