AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

My qustion is if nobody give birth Jagat Janani and Lord then how Sri Maa and Sri Aurobindo became Jagat janani, Dibya janani, Supreme Mother and same for Sri Aurobindo is Lord? After all I am the child of The mother from very early stage please remove my ignorance.πŸŒπŸ€±βœ¨πŸ‘‘

It is through the identification of consciousness with the Lord or the Divine Mother that one becomes one with them. This is an age-old Wisdom embodied in mantras like Ahambrahmasmi and Tattvamasi. All are the Divine is a profound truth but a parroting of this or a mental belief is not enough. One has to realise it. So too we know each one of us is the child of the Divine Mother but it like a card that has not yet been activated as long as the ego and ignorance govern us.

The Avatar is a still greater phenomenon. It is the Divine assuming a human body without ever forgetting that he is the Divine. For example a king wears the dress of a commoner. Does he therefore become a commoner or remains a kind except for the outer appearance. So too just because someone talks or dresses like a king one does not automatically become the king. This is the mystery that Sri Krishna reveals in the Gita. He is born to Devaki and yet he declares that He is the unborn Paramatma and the womb of everything. Birth is of the body and not of consciousness. The Divine in His formless truth is unborn but when He assumes a form then it is said that He takes birth

Birth and death are applicable only to the form and not to the consciousness within. The water in a pot does not die when it is broken. It spreads around even though the pot is gone.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
