AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Why was the Mother born in France and not in India? I mean I am aware everything is Her. Everywhere is Her. Just this brain of mine needs a rational answer or is just too curious than it needs to be. Either way please tell me.Β β˜€οΈπŸͺ·πŸ‘‘βœ¨πŸŒΈ

The Mother was born in France because at that time France was the hub of intellectual and artistic renaissance in the Age of rational enlightenment just as Greece was before that. France completed what Greece initiated. It was the Age of Europe. India was on the decline and had touched rock bottom in the late nineteenth century. That’s when the Mother and Sri Aurobindo came to shift the centre of power from Europe to Asia with India as the hub of the spiritual renaissance. But for that both needed to gather what was the best that the intellect Age could give and carry it from the ship of Europe that was slowly sinking to the ship of Asia that was destined to rise. Hence the shift of the Divine Shakti from Europe to Asia symbolically marking the change.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Kindly let me know if the understanding below is incorrect: As SAT, CHIT, and ANANDA are the 3 aspects of PARABRAHMAN, meant for the manifestation in our universe, so are the infinite other aspects of PARABRAHMAN meant for the manifestation in many other universes. Sat, Chit-tapas, Ananda are the three principle aspects. All other aspects such as Peace, Wisdom, Knowledge, Compassion, Strength, Beauty, Harmony, Love are derived from these four fundamental aspects of the One Infinite. Each…
