AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Goddess Durga is the “Protection” aspect of the divine mother. Of course she lacks the Ananda aspect of the divine mother but still based on above can we say that Goddess Durga is a more complete form of the supreme mother compared to other forms available in our scriptures?👑🦁🔥🔴

Now the word “Protect” means not just saving, but caring for, nurturing, supporting and guiding.

She provides protection by granting strength, knowledge, prosperity and inspiration for blissful living in this physical realm. Is this my understanding correct?

Yes, she is both Wisdom and Strength together.

Also please advise if a mantra like Gayatri mantra etc can be directed to her (Goddess Durga).

Best would be to invoke the Divine Mother in her completeness through the mantra ‘Om Anandamayee Chaitanyamayee Satyamayee Parame.’

Affectionately,

Alok Da

It is wonderful that you are able to see the falsehood behind this kind of vital love of praise which is indeed a kind of falsehood. Yes it is everywhere and it takes a great degree of sincerity to be able to detect it. But now that by the effect of the Grace you are able to discern it, you must try to live only to please the Divine and that means …
