Those who have undertaken the Yoga of Sri Aurobindo are supposed to set an example to the world that material life and spiritual life are not incompatible with each other, rather the material life is meant to be an instrument and means to fulfil the spiritual Intent of creation. Each individual is therefore trying to make an effort to incorporate the new spiritual dimension in their own respective fields, such as those of Education, Health, Psychology, Language, Poetry, History, Music, Sports, Politics, Administration, Finances, business, small-scale industry, solar energy and quite a few others. Being a new idea and, because of the tendency not to advertise, the mainstream may not yet be fully aware of it, but slowly it is percolating through different spheres, changing human understanding and reorienting humanity to the New Light.
There are other inner contributions, but that need not be spoken of.

The contribution of Indian and Western thought to the world so far has already been talked about. But very broadly, Indian thought has contributed to the psychological and spiritual fields, whereas Western thought mainly to the material aspects of human existence.

How the forces of Maa Sri Aurobindo work, it feels deep inside, but why the number of people’s are not so much in this path, even though it Is the difficult path, but it is the path of evolution, but it’s the path of perfection, so it’s the perfect path.
The higher and more complete the vision is, the less does the common man see it. Most human beings still live in a small and narrow frame of consciousness confined to their immediate material welfare and to that of the family. The rest, they do not care. They want a God who can give them health and wealth, not a greater aim or a wider thought or the possibility of a Divine Life.

Both Western and Eastern cultures bring the idea of progress as a common thought, but they differ in their understanding of what progress means.

What should be the way of seeing everything? Is it correct to see everything as if everything is fiction, or to see everything with love? Why does love carry attachment? Is this the vital play?
Everything we perceive carries a Truth within it and hence it is real. But in its appearance, it is distorted because of the limited and faulty instruments of perception. This distortion needs to be removed by developing the true perception of things.
