AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I have been facing a lot of anxiety of late. I feel it in my body. Sometime back, I was hospitalised due to low sodium, because of a diuretic and an antibiotic called Stratogyl for a stomach infection. After that, a lot of fear and anxiety set in. 🤕🦋🌱✨[…]

I also had to undergo a gall bladder surgery in July, which I did. I had to really calm myself down with prayer to the Mother, meditation and pranayama before and after the surgery.

My questions are: 1. Why am I feeling so much fear and anxiety?

2. Why am I not feeling inspired, and the lack of force to do the work I feel is what I’ve come to do?

3. Should I wait and let the work come about, or push through doing what I think I have to?

4. Am I not aligned to Mother and open to her love and force?

The fear and anxiety are due to habit. They have been kind of inherited. What is needed is growing faith and complete surrender. These phases come to everybody when work gets disrupted. One has to simply wait for them to pass off. They are like storms. When the storm arises, then one does not move outside but stays inside the rooms. So too when these storms come, one should try to go within oneself and make one’s contact with the Divine Mother deeper and more stable. Aligning with the Divine Mother is a lifelong work. But meanwhile, one can read, contemplate, do something other than what one was doing, or just keep the status quo of the work one is engaged in and, wait for the inspiration. It will come as the energy of anxiety and fear will move away, not getting support or attention from you.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dada, I asked you a few days ago that my every friend is being removed from my life, not that we are fighting or something, but they either get married or they shift to other place. You replied that Mother is preparing me for a big change and new friends with same aspiration will come to me. But Dada, when? 🌱🕊️ […]

Actually you have yourself answered it. There is something in you that seeks the Divine but there are parts of nature that refuse. The ‘loneliness’ has been provided so that you can make a conscious choice. The dryness of which you speak is only a passage but …

After coming to the center, Mother is fulfilling all of my aspirations like to be a part of the sadhaks, getting chance to clean the place near Samadhi, plucking flower for Mother etc. But my dipper and at present most aspired thing is to Live In her Presence. 🙏🏻🌼 […]

I am glad you have the opportunity to serve Her in the center. It is indeed a privilege and a Grace to be able to serve the Divine in anyway and anywhere.

Regarding your question about the sadhaks and their nature or the extent of their realisation, all that I would say is that it is best not to let the mind run in that direction as it is harmful for our progress. First of all we are not equipped to see let alone judge what is happening inside others. All our judgments have little meaning in our…

As I look within me, there is one part which is luminous, wants the Divine and at the same time there is this another dark part which is creating so much trouble. Sometimes thoughts linger on desires and ambition and I consciously pull them back; sometimes past wrong tendencies come up. 🪷🙏🏻 […]

This division is in everybody. It is by sadhana that one becomes one-pointed. It takes long time. Faith, sincerity, aspiration and surrender hastens the process. Depression, guilt, doubts, frustration make the process more complicated and longer….
