Elsewhere is another plane or dimension of consciousness.
It doesn’t mean Mars or Venus or Pluto.
The psychic world is made up of the psychic substance which is not the same as material substance. It has different properties for example luminosity, plasticity that we don’t see in matter as such.
It would be a fantasy if there were no other worlds than the physical material. If this is true then the question would be how did the material world itself come into existence? Those who hold this belief miss the links between the spiritual and the material and end up postulating that either there is only the material world and material energies or else there is the material world as well as God but there is no connection between the two. The existence of subtle worlds including the psychic world is a logical necessity if the psychic is indestructible and if it is connected to the Divine on one side and to the physical body on the other.
After death, the psychic detaches itself from the physical world and, by natural affinity goes to the psychic world and vice versa during birth.

As to the psychic being found only upon earth well even water and oxygen, and carbon that sustains life is also found only upon earth. Not everything is found everywhere.
The psychic being is the evolutionary soul in man. It is unique to earth like a controlled experiment being done in a laboratory.
