AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

As Mother advised, we should remain quiet and avoid unnecessary talk. I used to be somewhat talkative 2–3 years ago, but over time, I realized the value of speaking less and focusing only on necessary conversations, which brings me peace. πŸ—£οΈπŸ’¬πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»[…]

Now, I avoid draining or low-energy talks, such as complaining, gossiping, or criticism, but sometimes people may feel I am rude, sad, or not the same as before. I want to handle such situations respectfully while maintaining my Inner Peace.

It is wonderful that you have taken this decision and have the will to act upon it. Yes, remaining quiet, not to engage in too much discussion, especially gossip and criticisms are the right way to live and be. Yes, people won’t understand, but you don’t need to explain. Be yourself and keep progressing. After a while, they will understand themselves. To be quiet and speak less is not being disrespectful, but simply being sincere and honest with yourself. It is this that ultimately gets the true respect of people, but usually after a long period of time. So just ignore their reactions, be full of goodwill and helpful and leave them to their opinions.Β

Affectionately,

Alok Da
