AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

In a recent e-mail you mentioned that Sarada devi made a comment about Sri Aurobindo. I thought they never met. Can you clarify please?☀️♾️🌌✍️

They never met. The comment was made to Sri Aurobindo’s wife Mrinalini devi who met her when Sri Aurobindo was in the Alipore Jail. At that point of time Sri Aurobindo was among the most important public figures and his English and Bengali writings were widely read. It must be through these means that the inner contact would have been established leading to the statement. There was no physical meeting of course.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
