AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I want to ask, that when we go through tough time, we say just be strong in this time it is a test. God is testing you and you will come out better at the other end. But, for me, this test is going on forever. I am trying so hard to be better and do all the right things and be strong but it has been 5 years same lonely, painful and empty phase is going on. I am so tired now that everything feels pointless. How do I keep myself going? Is there any point of keep going? Will this ever get better?🧗🧱⛈️🌪️

First thing we must know is that God never tests. He is with us through all these tough moments with the full understanding of our limitations. These are in fact challenges of life and if faced in that spirit do help us grow stronger and wiser. But in this process one should fully take God’s help, open ourselves to Him through sincere prayer asking to show you the light and heal you with His Love. Treat God like a dearest friend and share everything with Him. Write to Him in a letter form all that you are going through.

At the same time don’t let yourself be fully occupied with fighting the darkness. It will exhaust you. Instead light the lamp of progress in different ways, study, play, keep yourself busy with different kind of works and meaningful activities while remembering and offering everything to God. Help will come. No darkness lasts forever. Persevere and progress rather than fighting the difficulties and all will be well. Look towards the future rather than lamenting about the past. Be full of faith and remember that bad times never last.

Surely we can ask the Divine Mother for what we need. Only our relationship should not be confined to that. One should learn to give, to give out of joy, something of oneself, work, actions, money, something for Her Purpose in …

Pranam Sir. I want to ask about how to deal with negative anticipations, thoughts, and expectations in our daily life. One of my colleagues always targeting me and quarreling with me over each minor issue or mistake and even insults me in front of juniors. He is visually challenged. 🌿🕊️[…]

The best way is to completely ignore him, and if you cannot do so then remain inwardly totally indifferent to him. The best response to people who are hypercritical is complete indifference. The more you try to explain, the more they justify. The more you concede, the more they increase the criticism. But indifference completely flattens them…

What does the chant “OM SHANTI” truly signify—is peace merely the repetition of a sacred word, or a state to be deeply imbibed within the heart? We often define peace simply as the absence of external conflict, agitation, or turbulence, but this surface calmness is only temporary and amounts to nothing more than restraining turbulent emotions. What, then, constitutes real, unshakable inner peace, and how can one truly attain and sustain it? 🕉️🕊️

Peace is not an absence of disturbance. Even inertia is free from disturbance. Peace is something positive and powerful, a fundamental foundational status of the Divine, seemingly equal and non-reactive like Shiva bearing and upholding the dance of Kali upon his chest or the ocean holding its tremendous energy by its own power of self-limitation. maryada. It is a state of concentrated ingatheredness like the mountains or a vast Silence …
