AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dear Sir, few days ago during sleep I experienced a very brief episode of sleep paralysis. While in a half-sleep state and aware of the paralysis, I noticed that Ram-naam Japa was occurring automatically within my heart, without any conscious effort. It was not vocal but inwardly reverberating, accompanied by a sense of Joy. 😴💤🛌🌃[…]

I do not practice Naaa Japa, so this surprised me. It may have been a psychological coping response; I am unsure. I would appreciate your thoughts. This was an isolated incident. Sleep paralysis occurs very rarely for me—about two or three times over the past decade.

It means that your inner being has some kind of bhakti towards Lord Rama and hence his remembrance came naturally to you.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
