Though I thought that poetic symbolism need not have a geographical accuracy in it, I found some suggestions in the poem which help to locate these cities along the course of the river Ganges.ย 1.Budrichayshwur โ is it Badrinath? Ila- is it somewhere along the course of Ganges as a city even in the current times?๐โ๏ธ๐๐ฎ
Sri Aurobindo often points out the directions of north, northwest, south etc along the poem. Though this too can be reconciled as some spiritual imagination with a psychological colour, I feel there may be some occult significance to it which can regulate and alter our mood when the image is meditated upon.
