AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dada, I watched the Movie Dhurandhar (Part 1 & 2). The struggle of the main character felt like a present-day Arjuna. I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Is there any Spiritual Lesson we can take from it? 🏹😊🙏🏻🎞️🌻🎬

From the archetype point of view, the character of the main protagonist (hero) in this film is more like Abhimanyu except that it ends up with a happier fate. Like Abhimanyu, he enters into the enemy ranks from where coming out was near impossible. He is trained but inexperienced, again like Abhimanyu. He is valiant, courageous, puts everything at stake, and is ready for the ultimate sacrifice, almost reaches that point as he is tricked into the vyuha by four of the main antagonists. In fact, the person whose character the hero in the film has played was actually apprehended due to someone’s mistake. He was then imprisoned, tortured and eventually killed. In the film, he escapes back, though he is dead to his old life.

This apart, it is a film that portrays something of the real-life heroes who remain unknown in the shadows and yet their sacrifice and courage keeps the nation safe.

Overall, it is a well-made movie not only about a spy operating incognito inside the enemy territory but also about the great sacrifices made out of love for the country that keeps the freedom of its citizens intact. And behind it all is the power of love that makes the supreme sacrifice possible. Sacrifice is the price for freedom, whether outer or inner. It is also the keynote of love at every level, from the most ordinary human to the highest form of Divine Love.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dear Alok da, I had a Dream in the early morning. Does it have a meaning? In the Dream – there were a lot of people in the house and they were playing something. I was standing a little away, looking at the people. 💭👧🏼🐶🏃🏼‍♂️😰[…]

Dogs are generally fine. The dream represents some kind of a conflict of faith that is somewhere and in some way affecting or influencing the psychic being (the child) whom you are trying to safeguard and are successful in doing so.

When I first visited the Ashram in 2006, someone told me to go to this room around Samadhi, where an old disciple gave me a Blessings Packet. He was sitting in the first room in the veranda where people sit around the Samadhi. The room closest to the entrance toward the Meditation Hall. Do you know who it could be? 😇🙏🏼🌸✉️

The first room in the Verandah around the Samadhi and in the courtyard as it turns towards the Meditation Hall is Dyuman bhai. He did give blessing packet. But he left his body in 1991. Most of the sadhaks living around inside …
