In Savitri, page 1, line 9 (“A fathomless zero occupied the world”), does the term “world” refer to the Earth as we know it, or to the entire universe? The ideas of the first creation (involution), the second creation (the beginning of evolution), and the third creation (supramental action in evolution)—are these concepts related specifically to the Earth, or do they apply to the entire universe?☀️🪷🌏🌌

The fathomless zero that occupied the world here refers to the earth that is wheeling as if abandoned after one of the pralayas. It is the story of creation upon earth as we see it mentioned a few lines below. Even in the very second line we have a word about the ‘divine event’ yet to take place which is about the death of Satyavan and his return to life. 

Involution refers to the whole universe or universes. Evolution and at its farther end the supramental transformation refers to the drama going on upon earth.
