AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

What is the difference between Vishnu and the Supreme Incarnation? Name some Supreme Incarnations because I have never heard about them. ๐Ÿฆš๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿชท

The trinity are one. They are three aspects of One Being, the Purushottama of the Gita, the supreme Purusha of the Vedas, the Sacchidananda Brahman, the Chatuspada Brahman, or rather Parabrahman of the Upanishads. The Hiranyagarbha from whose womb all emerges, or if you go by the Devi Shuktam, the Supreme Divine Mother, Aditi, who is the mother of the Gods. All these truths are already there in our Scriptures. Even they speak of the original Four with Krishna as the supreme Godhead. We should not be bewildered by Names and Forms but go to their deepest truth.

God Vishnu is the name used to describe that aspect of the One Reality that is All-pervasive, omnipresent. There are other names as well, Hari, Narayan, each representing some aspect or the other of the single Reality, the Supreme Being, Sacchidananda Purushottama.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
