AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Let’s say we somehow take the path which is not good for us…. does Sweet Mother still redirect? πŸ›£οΈπŸ₯²πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»

Due to the Divine Presence within every creature, this redirection is going on all the time, sometimes through struggle and pain. But when the Divine Mother takes charge, as She has in your life, then the redirection is swifter and generally smoother. But in any case, since the Divine Will is eventually there behind everything, there always is hope as It eventually prevails against a million obstacles. All that is needed is to inwardly cleave to It, surrender oneself to Her with faith in the Grace that can pull us through every inner and outer difficulty and obstacle.

(Follow-up Question:)

Thank you so much, but does that mean whatever happens there is always a Divine Will behind them? Even if it was our mistake?

Everything comes from the Divine means the original impulsion. The Source of Knowledge, Power, Love, Peace, Joy is always one. But as the Divine Will works itself in creation through its countless forms, each form either collaborates or resists. Thus is introduced slowly, layer by layer, deflections, deformations, deviations and consequent distortions in the Divine Play leading to the complications and unwanted suffering and evil. Man, especially, has a role to play. He can become conscious of the Divine Will and aid the Divine Work, or he can offer resistances due to the ego and strong deflections due to desires and ambitions. By exercising our will and choices, we can help the Divine Work in the world. That is what all yoga is about. If all were already the perfect expression of the Divine Will then no yoga would be needed. Everything will blossom beautifully.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dear Da, I’m a single child. I always have this question: why don’t I have a sibling with whom I can share things? Also, my parents have a greater realisation of the Divine, so whenever I try something out of spirituality or try to get mixed with society, they get to know things from within and always doubt my intentions and try to keep me under their influence. πŸ˜’πŸŒΈπŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ‘§πŸ»β€πŸ‘¦πŸ»πŸƒ[…]

I want to know if The Mother refers to Sri Aurobindo as ‘Lord’? And so, when They say, the aim of life is to know the Divine and unite with It, do they mean to know the Lord and unite with Him? So, do we look to know Sri Aurobindo and The Mother as the Divine, and unite with Them by offering ourselves to Them integrally? I am curious how you understand this and practice this aim of Life. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸͺ·β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯
