AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Alokda, you might have explained this in your “The Bhagavat Purana” class, but how do you explain the Victory of rakshasas over deva? Stories of imprisonment of devas… 😇⚔️👺🌷[…]

If Indra represents the Mind, and other devas represent natural forces, then being victorious over them means an evolved, civilized being, right? A titan wants to be strong vitally and greedy, then why is victory on Indra, Varuna, seen as a bad thing?

Yes. The Puranas do speak about the Devas losing at times to the Titans when they grow proud and haughty and think it is they who have won the victory. Then they lose so as to learn the lesson of humility. The Titans win when they persevere rightly, have done the tapasya that always brings its fruits. But they are unable to stay in the kingdom of the gods for long because they soon get puffed up with pride and misuse the gifts of heaven.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

We have to learn only from our behaviours. We are responsible only for what we do and not for what others do. This is the first fundamental lesson of life.

What your Bhabhi has done goes with her. Each one faces the consequences of their actions. But by constantly…
