What is Bhakti? Who is a true bhakta? 😊🙏🏻🪷

True bhakti is complete self-giving to the Divine. It is motiveless, ahaituki, only for the joy of the Divine. Inwardly, it manifests itself in the knowledge that the Divine alone is all, that He alone exists behind all the countless forms, names, appearances. True Knowledge, the knowledge of Oneness is the foundational base of bhakti. Outwardly, it manifests as service and works done for the joy of serving the Divine without any other motive. Knowledge and Service are the two strong wings that support the flight of Bhakti.

Yes Sri Krishna spoke of liberation through action. Before his advent, action was regarded as bondage and meditation and worship the only means to liberation. But what kind of action?
