I somewhat understood the other three, but I could not grasp the significance of this fourth event.

As Sri Aurobindo reveals the seige of Troy created Hellas after the name of Helen over whom the war was fought. Before the Trojan war, what we today call as Greece was divided into several tribes. After the seige of Troy a nation called Hellas was born which developed into the cradle of European civilisation with its unique culture and art that spread all around. The event is comparable to the victory of King Bharat over ten native kings which led to a treaty thereby giving birth to the nation called Bharat. You may find a talk on auromaa on the four great events.
