The physical, vital, mental parts in us are right now under the influence of the lower nature. It is a preparative stage where we go through all kind of experiences, fears, desires, jealousies, ambitions, and all the rest, with its attendant results of pleasure and pain, joy and suffering. Through all these experiences, we grow and the psychic being grows as a child grows in a school.ย
Then, a time comes when the psychic being develops and begins to exert its influence upon nature, tuning it slowly towards the higher Divine Nature. Instead of the ego, the psychic being begins to lead and thereby these parts, – mind, life, heart, body, begins to come out of the school and influence of lower nature. Instead of the ego, they begin to slowly obey the psychic being, the real leader. They realise that it is only the Divine who can fulfill their true and highest needs. The tyranny of the ego slowly ends and our nature begins to become an instrument of the Divine and His work upon earth.ย
