AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Namaste Alok Da. Thank you for the understanding given to me.ย  Nothing is more delightful than to know through you that there is indeed Divine’s Will behind, pushing me to Spiritual Life.ย  My aspiration for the Divine is to realize and unite with the Divine and manifest only His Will through this entire being.ย ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒธโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ[…]

I aspire to consecrate myself exclusively and completely to the Infinite, the Supreme Divine – the Being who can be felt, seen and guided by – one who is far beyond even the Supramental… one who is a Being. I came to know through reading that Divine is not only manifest and unmanifest but a Being who may have many aspects like Peace, Light, etc.ย  To live for that Divine and His Work upon Earth is the aspiration, not to live for this small self. To unite with The Divine and do the Mighty Mother’s Work.ย

He is the Lord, the Supreme, I aspire to give myself to.. and I do take hints about circumstances and situations and the immediate way for me from The Mother’s words and Sri Aurobindo’s, who is The Master, who I pray to for granting this Yoga, this Path of Transformation to consecrate to it alone and not waste time and life anymore, lot of change should come and I seek Him to help me.ย  It gives me immense joy to know that Sri Aurobindo is my Master for this life upon earth.

Thank you, Alok Da. I got clarity about ‘no shortcut to Divinity’โ€ฆ that it is about the time, the path that must be steadily walked upon and not directly try to experience the highest or acquire divinityโ€ฆ and it’s not about morals and ethics. ย For I have been struggling to decipher what Gurudev actually meant. Namaste and thank you, Alok Da.

I also understand that Gurudev’s words must come true in my life, that Matter shall revealย the Spirit and that the higher shall reveal itself in the forms of the lower and the lower put on the nature of the higher.ย  So much I suffered being called a lower being, alongside this higher aspiration, that these precious words must come true in my own nature and being and fulfil my spiritual destiny in this life itself, for as Gurudev says, I cannot postpone spiritual destiny.ย  But my being stuck in just an office-going employee identity is my difficulty and has to undergo a radical transformation with Their own Blessings and Grace.

I understand The Mother’s words that one must bridge the gap within and without.ย  For that, I must become fully conscious of who I am and what my purpose here is, truly, as you said.ย I want to really become fully awakened to everything about this life of Divine purpose, also know things of the world. I am struggling to just find my true self, true identity.ย  How to know and emerge forth from this resisting externalised nature? With continuous everyday office going, I can hardly go within or get out of the worldly material mind and nature.

It is a beautiful aspiration. Nourish it by taking The Mother’s Name within you. Nurture it by regular study of Sri Aurobindo and The Motherโ€™s Words. Do all you do in the spirit of nishkama karma and practice equanimity in the face of all outward disturbances. Offer all you do to the Divine Mother. That is the main thing required. The nature of the work you are engaged in, that is to say, office work, hardly matters except for the general atmosphere in the place of your work. By remembering the Mother inwardly, you can gradually learn to isolate yourself from the collective atmosphere.ย

Defects of nature and what people think or say about you hardly matters. Keep reminding yourself that you are The Mother’s child. She alone knows you and there is nothing impossible for Her to accomplish if you keep your faith, aspiration and surrender. If you keep to this attitude and do whatever inwardly you can to reject the lower movements.

Sending my prayers that may your highest aspiration be fulfilled one day.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dear Sir, Namaste. I had a dream in which I was sightseeing in Ayodhya. It was totally different from the real city in every aspect. There were very large temples and monuments, some of which I remember were statues of a horse, a peacock, and an open court of a king; these were stone structures as tall as the Eiffel Tower. ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ›•๐Ÿฆท๐ŸŒ„[…]

In life, when you come to a junction where you are aware and conscious of your inner self, conscious of the conflicts that happen between mind and vital, conscious of your psychic [at least a bit] and offer everything at HER feet [mostly] but feel conflicted between the outer system we are in and the inner call.. ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน๐ŸŒผ[…]
