AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I am wondering if there is something in particular to be aware of in a work environment with all kinds of possibly negative vibrations. I work in a restaurant kitchen, and on top of the general stress, there can be some tense personal relations. 🍽️👨🏼‍🍳❤️‍🩹👥[…]

I can get quite silent before work when I wake up; I try to offer the day to the Mother before and after, and most recently to do Nama Japa during, but I find it is quite easy, especially toward the end of a long shift, to slip into bad movements. Especially for worry and anxiety, for instance about days with a lot of bookings to come forth, or to get frustrated with a small amount of free time.

Yes, it does happen due to the collective atmosphere in a public place. While doing Naam Japa and offering the day to the Divine Mother is the foundation, it would be helpful to take a bath once you return back. It is a simple way to wash away the vibrations that stick to the physical body and the nervous envelope, creating the agitation you mention. A bit of quiet meditation for a few minutes, calling inner peace, will fully fortify you.

You can keep a small little picture of The Mother in your pocket and, if possible, a little piece of camphor with you. Camphor absorbs a lot of negative energy and the Mother’s picture will protect you against the intrusions.

Sending you The Mother’s Love. 🌼

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dada, I asked you a few days ago that my every friend is being removed from my life, not that we are fighting or something, but they either get married or they shift to other place. You replied that Mother is preparing me for a big change and new friends with same aspiration will come to me. But Dada, when? 🌱🕊️ […]

Actually you have yourself answered it. There is something in you that seeks the Divine but there are parts of nature that refuse. The ‘loneliness’ has been provided so that you can make a conscious choice. The dryness of which you speak is only a passage but …

After coming to the center, Mother is fulfilling all of my aspirations like to be a part of the sadhaks, getting chance to clean the place near Samadhi, plucking flower for Mother etc. But my dipper and at present most aspired thing is to Live In her Presence. 🙏🏻🌼 […]

I am glad you have the opportunity to serve Her in the center. It is indeed a privilege and a Grace to be able to serve the Divine in anyway and anywhere.

Regarding your question about the sadhaks and their nature or the extent of their realisation, all that I would say is that it is best not to let the mind run in that direction as it is harmful for our progress. First of all we are not equipped to see let alone judge what is happening inside others. All our judgments have little meaning in our…

As I look within me, there is one part which is luminous, wants the Divine and at the same time there is this another dark part which is creating so much trouble. Sometimes thoughts linger on desires and ambition and I consciously pull them back; sometimes past wrong tendencies come up. 🪷🙏🏻 […]

This division is in everybody. It is by sadhana that one becomes one-pointed. It takes long time. Faith, sincerity, aspiration and surrender hastens the process. Depression, guilt, doubts, frustration make the process more complicated and longer….
