AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

During an intense badminton game, a brief epiphany arose in my heart with a deep joy. It lasted only a moment, but the phrase that came was: “All is for the delight of the Divine.” 🏸✨ […]

Along with it came the understanding that everything exists for the Divine and His delight. Transformation is not for us, but for the Divine, by the Divine. We are only His instruments. It is for us to choose whether to be conscious instruments or unconscious ones.

Interestingly, although the insight lasted only a split second, the joy spread through my whole body and a spontaneous smile came over my face. This happened while I was completely absorbed in playing badminton, which made the experience even more unexpected.

Could you kindly share your insights on this experience?

It is clearly a psychic experience. It is only the developed soul that can feel thus. It is interesting that it came while playing the game of badminton. Sometimes when one is engaged in physical sport, the consciousness tied to the inertia of the body has a chance to wake up and escape from the confines of the material consciousness and come in contact directly with the Divine Peace or Ananda, bypassing the vital and the mental realms. This is what seems to have happened. Grace indeed.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
