But Thought, Desire, Reason has been described in Savitri as minds fooling agents of doubt. That mess with and hinder Divine guidance. 

Thought, desires, feelings, reason are meant to be instruments of the soul. But when the instrument begin to dictate terms and enslave us then it is like the servant becoming the master that naturally misleads us. Desires supercedes inertia of matter, emotions supercede desires, reason should supercede emotions and the Soul supercedes the Reason and the Divine Self should supercede the soul. It is only when we reverse this natural order that conflict and confusion, deception and deviation takes place. The driver should not decide where the owner must go. It should be vice versa.
