Or if you are insincere in your relationship, your partner will do anything for you, but at the same time, if you give your pure love, then your partner will likely ignore you. These are just two examples, but I see this everywhere around me.
First of all, we must be sure what really is a bad thing. Earning money by dark means is to lose contact with your soul. That is a straight road to self-destruction. Giving true love to anyone increases the force of love in you. Increase of the energy of love gives natural, spontaneous joy. It is not the love that you receive from others that makes you happy, but the love that you give to others. It is a question of what we truly value. It is this that marks the difference between human beings. It is not success or money or a happy relationship that is the mark of greatness. It is courage, love, wisdom, inner strength that truly differentiates a human being from an animal. So all depends upon what we want in life: goodness and greatness, the sign of a higher humanity, or outer happiness and material success, the sign of an inferior humanity. Each gets what he values and learns its limitations through experience. We see only at one point in time and draw hasty conclusions. It is irrelevant what others get. What is important is what you want in life: money or true self-worth?
