I now clearly recognize how aspiration, rejection, faith, and surrender must function as an integrated whole, and that my mistake was practicing them partially rather than offering myself fully to the Mother’s Grace. Even this brief attempt at deeper sincerity has brought immense clarity, showing me that the obstacles were not external problems, but calls for inner alignment. My primary realization from this churning is the central need for sincerity, though I wonder how one might learn and assimilate these inner lessons without undergoing such painful emotional turmoil.
To recognize the insincerities is itself a great step forward towards sincerity. Most people, even in the Yoga or so they believe, are unable to see their own hidden insincerities. It is indeed a Grace and the sign of the true spiritual life growing in you.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
