AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dada, my mom was the one who arranged my Chachu and Chachi’s marriage. But now, after five years, they’ve been living separately because of frequent arguments. Both of their families are blaming my mom for everything. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💛[…]

Dada, my mom is under a lot of stress and keeps worrying, thinking, “If they are unable to sort out their differences, how is it my fault?” She feels very guilty and helpless even though she only wanted the best for them.

How is your mother responsible? In fact, it explains why they are having problems. People who don’t reflect upon their own difficulties but are quick to blame others remain generally unhappy and bitter. But yes, there is a lesson to learn here. One should never try to arrange marriages or be a sort of mediator in these things

Nobody knows the inner truth of others and the future course of life. So when things go wrong, especially in marriage, the couple is quick to blame others. It is best to let people make their free choices and learn through the consequences. Nobody else is responsible for what each one goes through in life except the person himself.

Affectionately,

Alok da
