AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I failed my NDA exam. This is my last attempt; what should I do? 🎓🧘🏻‍♂️ […]

As a second-year B.Tech student, how can I integrate spirituality with rigorous studies to build yogic concentration? While I understand mentally that wandering thoughts are a waste of time, daydreaming happens naturally and leaves me in constant regret despite months of trying. Could you share practical, realistic steps to master my attention and study with inner focus without falling into mechanical, repetitive effort?

One must master one’s nature. To daydream too much will disturb the focus. Concentration is indeed the key to success in every sphere. It can be increased by practice. I don’t see what is impractical about it.

As to NDA, I am not sure if you know how much tough the training is and how much concentration it requires. One must be practical about what one can do. You have to see not only what comes naturally to you but what kind of effort you are ready to undertake. I feel you should first complete your B. Tech and then diversify into Management.

No, I don’t advise Savitri for achieving success in life. Not sure how you got this idea. Savitri does improve concentration, but the main purpose is spiritual growth, an inner journey which all cannot undertake, or rather does not want to undertake.

My advice would be to complete B. Tech and then see if Management interests you enough.
