Amid this chaos, I discovered a radiant child sleeping in my bedroom. Soon, he began running, playing, and laughing, completely oblivious to the collapsing structure and my family’s erratic behavior. Though not part of our family, he remained the sole source of peace, light, and fearlessness.
The dream then shifted to darker imagery: occult rituals, skulls, and dancing maidens. Suddenly, my family was seated at a filthy roadside dhaba where a butcher was actively preparing raw meat. Overwhelmed by disgust and sorrow, I wondered why we had come to such a grotesque place to eat. Throughout this anxious turmoil, only the luminous child offered purity and grace.
The child is the psychic being. The description is of nature in a state of tamas.
Q2. Sir, the frequency of these dreams—where I encounter an infant or child who feels distinctly divine, pure, and elevated—is increasing. From your talks, I understand from your talks that these may be signs of spiritual emergence. Is the moment of psychic emergence near? Must I resolve firmly to find my soul, or concentrate more deeply within the heart? Has my soul matured, and have I already entered spiritual life? Is this the lifetime in which I will finally realize my soul?
The soul is ready to emerge. You must become conscious of it and allow it to govern your life.
Q3: “The soul is a child of the Divine, and its growth is the emergence of the eternal youth of the Spirit out of the decay of the mind.” — Sri Aurobindo. What does this “decay” mean? Lately, I sense a growing apathy toward the intellect and the mind. At times, I feel on the threshold of an imminent, monumental shift—like an approaching dawn —which leaves me simultaneously elated and overwhelmed. It feels as though I am drifting into uncharted territory where all plans and strategies dissolve. Everything seems both luminous and obscure. My outer personality feels as though it is thinning, i feel my heart is pregnant with intense possibility.
Not sure about the exact quote, but the pride of the mind and the intellect must be left behind and one must be ready to become a child new born to the Divine Mother if one wants to progress on the Path you have been called to and have already entered.
Affectionately,
Alok da
