AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Is suffering a must before human transformation🤔? It’s in Savitri somewhere in Pg 449 or 450

Once u come to mother and you surrender to the extent you can, absolute surrender seems only thro grace..why do we still suffer. Then why do place a prayer to mother asking for a relief from a particular problem. All mother devotees feel her immense presence and help always but still go through pain in life?

In the present conditions of the world and of mankind living in a state of ignorance, governed by ego and desires, it is impossible to avoid suffering. Yes the Mother helps Her children but there are conditions for the transformation which is Her main work. She is not here to fulfill our desires but to help us overcome them. As long as there is ignorance, ego and desire suffering is inevitable and even indispensable for man’s progress.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

So, do we look to know Sri Aurobindo and The Mother as the Divine, and unite with Them by offering ourselves to Them integrally? I am curious how you understand this and practice this aim of Life. 😊🙏🏻🪷❤️‍🔥
