AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Is love at first sight realπŸ™ƒ? Or does real love have to develop over time?

Love at first sight is real. It is the heart’s intuitive recognition of your other self. But it is very difficult to sustain it. No human vessel can sustain this first movement in its purity. Sooner or later it tends to get soiled and spoiled by all that is contrary to the spirit of love that one even wonders whether what one felt was true at all. The first contact is like a spark but the spark needs to be nurtured otherwise it dies down. Love, like all things upon earth, is subject to the evolutionary pressure. One has to keep not only  nurturing the flame but to carry it to its highest divinest possibility. But most human beings end up using this most powerful energy for egoistic ends and mutual pleasure. Love suffers it for awhile, then often silently departs.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
