AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

As I’m a commerce student, when I read the subjects like economics, business development, and others that certainly focuses on how to grow businesses, but what I see largely is, the whole economy, the consumerism, utilitarian culture, the today’s business world is altogether in the hands of Asura, people are no way worried about the resources, they are just running for “growth”, and don’t know what’s the end point of this growth?🤨[conti]

As I asked one wise man about this, I said am I doing wrong while studying these subjects or are they of no worth?

He said, it’s not like that, go and learn the way the business world works today through your subjects, study with developing focus, concentration, find and question your professors about the loopholes of the current system and you can even develop something of yours!! Like koutilya’s arthshastra. He said nothing goes waste, if you know with what attitude you are gaining the knowledge.

What’s your view about the condition, and what can be the steps for me to make use of my subjects in right way while knowing the whole thing aims to destroy the nature.

The wise man is right. You should study to know the deeper truth about commerce and economics, and when the time comes, place it at the service of the Divine.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

We are mixing up several things here. Yes Indians are basking too much in the past glories but it is understandable given the long passage of darkness and servitude. Yes, India has to move towards the future and grow as a military and economic power but it has to be on a deeper, …

My sister hasn’t scored well in NEET and isn’t getting any MBBS college. She doesn’t have any inner calling or conviction to decide what she should pursue. We were thinking of admitting her to a BAMS college. But everyone is advising that there is no scope for an Ayurvedic doctor. Can you guide me regarding this and tell me what can be career options after pursuing BAMS🤨?

One does not study a branch of knowledge for career and money but for the joy of learning, gaining knowledge in the field of interest, for expressing oneself creatively along the lines of one’s nature and temperament. If one …
