AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

A week ago I had a dream. I was about to go jogging, but I had to first deliver some supplies from my home to my sister or friend. She and her Mother-in-law visited us at home and going back, wanted to stop by a local temple on the way. 💭🌳🚵🏻🛕[…]

I do not want to go, so I take the beautiful road that leads me to end of the temple road. They have to go through a tunnel-like road with less light; they come out with prasad from the temple, chattering with each other about some worries all the way and littering prasad without realizing to pick it up.

They have an aluminium can of porridge with them. They come out of the tunnel and I feel sad for my friend; she has so many worries. We walk a short distance uphill to their house; the road is made of some pale cement white-like stones, with a fence on one side and houses on the other side. I deliver the goods, say bye and go jogging up….

I wear pale grey pants and a sweatshirt, and white shoes. Every couple of houses has a dog outside and every house has kept some food outside their house in a prasad bowl. First, I wonder why they are wasting food like this. I found some plastic bags lying on the road and wondered why they do this! Mostly, the road is clean. The first two dogs didn’t bark at me. The road is steep and slightly winding, and going up, there are more and more dogs. They bark loudly together, block the path, chasing me downhill, but not violent. No one else on the climbing road.

I run back to the ground and I suddenly find a vast green forest. I knew about the forest before but didn’t think about it. Looking closely, I saw people riding bicycles fast, taking their own way through the forest. It was a beautiful forest with a fresh, pleasant view. The way appeared as they were going, they were not worried about the way, or they knew it. I couldn’t see the way. I saw a couple of orange robed fast going people on bicycles, like monks, but not sure. Fascinated, I tried to focus.

Everything was so quick and I couldn’t capture many details. Everyone has their own bicycle and they travel in fast movements; it was not normal bicycle speed. No cars went through the forest, only people going fast on their bicycles. I saw a man carrying milk and some supplies on his bicycle towards the town, but coming through the green area. I want to stop him and ask where these people are going and where the way leads, and also where he gets the milk from.

It seems to be more of an excursion in the vital worlds where all kinds of things, energies, forces are mixed up. The green forest, the milkman, the streamlined bicycles and your question indicates that the journey takes you towards the space where the vital world is touched by the psychic influx from within.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
