AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

How to get rid of regrets of an action😨?

By understanding that life does not, in fact has never followed a rule book of the mind. The mind, especially reason must develop discernment and apply it on the demands of the vital in us. But this discernment is not something inborn. It develops through the life experiences which come to teach us.

The right response therefore is to learn and keep growing. Guilt is out of question since none of know anything about life to begin with. Besides, life has its own way of learning and growing. Through these experiences life itself becomes conscious and develops an inner intuitive knowledge of its own that is quite independent of the rules of the mind which are, besides, often quite arbitrary. So learn and grow and progress. That is the only thing we are here for.

Finally one must learn to trust that behind all our troubles and difficulties, behind all our trials and errors, behind all our mistakes there is a luminous Wisdom, a Divine Grace that has allowed it to happen because it was needed for our growth. A secret hand holds us through the journey of life and if it lets us fall it is only for a greater subsequent rise and to build a fuller perfection. In the last analysis there is no error but only a circling around the truth preparing ourselves fully to arrive at it.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
