AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Very interesting perspectives in your answer. When you talk of the crisis of faith, normally one would associate it with a lack of religious faith. In terms of the dynamic will-to-be, which you referred to, what is the way to restore it in children and teenagers🤔?

We have to be living examples of what we want our children to be. They must know and understand, not just by words and stories but by relatable examples that ambition and desire are not the only laws of life, – they may be needed to kick start life, but they should be replaced by the conscious will for progress, the pursuit of excellence and, the relentless urge to exceed the limits in every direction. Especially the idea that life’s goal is to seek pleasure and comfort, earn some money, own property, get married and enjoy should be replaced by more intrinsic goals to know more, to love better, to grow stronger in every way, to discover the ultimate Truth. If the children can be inspired towards this, the rest will follow.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
